Lou Gramm, the powerhouse voice behind all those Foreigner classics has announced plans to retire in 2026. In an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Gramm said, “I’ve been doing this for over 54 years,” and added, “I just feel like there’s some other things that I want to do.”
Gramm’s retirement plans include spending more time with his kids and getting back to his love of cars—while he’s still able to drive them, he joked. With honors like the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame already under his belt, he feels he’s done all he set out to do in the music world.
This year, Lou Gramm has been on the road, touring with both his solo band and Foreigner.Lou is finally winding down his long and storied career and taking some time to live his own life.
