Elton John is the latest celebrity to embrace the booze-free train. The legendary star has just launched Elton John Zero non-alcoholic Blanc de Blancs that he promises has the elegance and fizz of the real thing. Elton calls it “a 0% alcohol Blanc de Blancs that captures the elegance, effervescence, and joy of a traditional Blanc de Blancs, without compromise.” Translation? It’s classy, it sparkles, and everyone can join the party.
The new project is personal for Sir Elton. He’s been sober since 1990, and he and husband David Furnish wanted something fun to sip at their own soirées. “It’s so boring drinking water all the time,” Elton admits. So, they decided to create a drink that feels festive without the hangover. Elton says his bubbly is all about raising a glass and celebrating together.
