The Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville is rolling out a tremendous 2026 class led by Michael McDonald, Dolly Parton, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, and late keyboard legend Nicky Hopkins. All will be honored April 28th at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts in Music City, with presenters and performers still to be announced.
They’re joined by Keith Urban, Leland Sklar, John Boylan, and Dann Huff, spanning stadium country, iconic session bass, and heavy‑hitting producers. The legacy of Nicky Hopkins picks up another accolade after receiving the Musical Excellence Award from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November.
And Michael McDonald completes a rare Hall‑of‑Fame trifecta, adding this to his Rock Hall induction in 2020 and Songwriters Hall of Fame nod in 2025. It’s great to see these legendary artists receiving the appreciation they’ve truly earned and deserve.
