Phil Collins’ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination provided a really sweet moment from his daughter Lily Collins. The Emily in Paris star celebrated her father on Instagram, saying, “Congrats, dad, you deserve it. Love you to the moon and back.”Lily has always been very close to her famous father.
For Phil Collins, this nomination has been a long time coming. He’s already in the Rock Hall as a member of Genesis, but he’s waited 20 years to land on the ballot for his solo work, a long overdue shot at permanent recognition.
The nomination feels less like a formality and more like a long‑overdue nod to a massive music catalog that shaped pop and rock n’ roll for a generation. Phil has jumped out to an early lead in the Fan Vote. Fans have until April 3rd to vote for this year’s class at RockHall.com. The Class of 2026 will be announced in mid-April.
