Last Thursday, Def Leppard received the 2,824th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, right outside the iconic Capitol Records building. Fellow '80s legend Jon Bon Jovi was on hand to honor the band, praising their decades of influence, resilience, and even their impact on artists like Taylor Swift. “Their legacy is etched in stone,” Bon Jovi said, and now—literally—it is!
All five members of Def Leppard were there to take in the big moment, with frontman Joe Elliott delivering a heartfelt thank-you. “2,824 stars. Amazing,” he said. “And are we in good company or what?” The crowd roared as Elliott reflected on the band’s journey from Sheffield to global stardom.
While Jon Bon Jovi gave a moving tribute, neither he nor his band have a star on the Walk of Fame yet! 🤯 Still, the mutual respect between these rock icons was loud and clear at the event. 🔥⭐️
