If you want to project a good image, forget the selfie.
Even though most people have taken a selfie, it’s frowned upon. Researchers in Germany studied a group of people and when it came to their own selfies, 77% said they take them at least once a month.
Great. So, they should be acceptable, right? Wrong! A whopping 90% of participants consider other peoples' selfies to be self-promotion. Some even admitted their own picture was.
If you’re wondering what’s up with the hypocrisy, Author Stephen M.R. Covey sums it up beautifully: "We judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their behavior."
