DON HENLEY:  Lineup confirmed for his birthday bash

Last month, there were unconfirmed reports about the guests who would join Don Henley at his 70th birthday concert on July 22nd in Dallas.

Don was more than happy to drop some broad hints about it.  Don Henley on the guests at his 70th birthday bash in Dallas in July:.

"There are a couple of gals who I have done duets with. Let's put it that way. One is a lead singer for another big band who's gonna be on this Classic festival thing. There's another gal from New York that I did a duet with several years ago who's gonna show up. And I think, from what I hear, Mr. Walsh and Mr. Schmit are gonna show up. It looks to be a lot of fun."

The two females he is referring to are Stevie Nicks and former Scandal frontwoman Patty Smyth, who is married to tennis great John McEnroe.

Henley has donated a suite in the American Airlines Center to a Charitybuzz auction, with the proceeds going to one of his charities, the Caddo Lake Institute. It ends on Thursday at 3pm ET. The suite accommodates up to 18 people.
