ELVIS PRESLEY: We lost The King 40 years ago today
It's another of those days where most all of us remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when the news came that Elvis Presley had passed away at age 42. I was 8 years old on August 16, 1977. I can remember coming back into the house after playing outside and my mother had the TV on that day when the announcer broke in to deliver the news. I can still see that day vividly in my mind 40 years later. ~ Dewayne
