Movie reboots are hot right now, but fans of Jim Carrey shouldn’t expect 'Ace Ventura' to make a comeback anytime soon. The actor’s former 'Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls' costar Tommy Davidson has dished to Us Weekly that Carrey isn’t into the idea of doing another movie right now.
“Carrey doesn’t want to do it now,” Davidson says, “But Jim is one of those kind of artists that, you know, he does what he feels. I asked him about it. He said, ‘No, I’m not doing those now'.” So, Carrey may not be in the mood for another 'Ace Ventura' at the moment, but Davidson says that he still keeps in touch with the actor. “We’re friends, get us together and watch what happens.”
Carrey has been keeping himself busy lately, starring in a new show, 'Kidding', set to debut in September, as well as being the executive producer for Showtime’s 'I’m Dying Up Here'.
