By comparison, in 2004 the British Broadcasting Company conducted a poll and came up with The Blues Brothers. Music in the action comedy was provided by stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd alongside Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Cab Calloway.
Pulp Fiction, whose soundtrack which included such classics as Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," Neil Diamond's "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" and Kool and the Gang's "Jungle Boogie," came in second.
Trainspotting, Saturday Night Fever and Dirty Dancing rounded out the Top 5.
