Sheryl Crow says that Threads, out today, will be her final full-scale album. And she's going out with a bang, working with a star-studded group of collaborators.
Her cover of the George Harrison song "Beware of Darkness" features Eric Clapton, Sting and Brandi Carlile. There's a new version of the anti-war ballad "Redemption Day" with posthumous vocals from Johnny Cash, who once recorded it. Sheryl joins Stevie Nicks and country star Maren Morris on "Prove You Wrong." Rolling Stone Keith Richard guests on his band's song "The Worst." Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples harmonize with her on "Live Wire."
Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Joe Walsh and Lucas Nelson also appear.
