Rick Astley isn't really channeling his inner Arnold Schwarzenegger, but the resurgent British rhythmic pop star tells us "I'll Be Back."
While his website lists 2020 tour dates first in Asia, then across Europe, the voice of "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Together Forever" says he's not ignoring his North American fans. He's always enjoyed performing on our side of the Atlantic and expects to play here next year.
Rick says, "I've had so much fun playing in America in the last few years again. I've got really good friends who live in America, on both coasts, and what have you, and I like being there. It's always been pretty amazing. I think, to have some records known in America, because as a kid, I grew up listening to so many records that had been made there, and watching it on TV and everything. I think for a lot of British artists, it's a big deal to come to America. So, yeah, I'm sure we're going to put some dates in. We just haven't finalized it yet."
Rick recently released the two-CD compilation The Best of Me, combining his '80s and '90s classics, recent material and revised version of several of his biggest hits.
