The B-52s are going a ways back for their fans on the next release.
The B-52s: Live at US Festival, shot on September 3rd, 1982 near San Bernardino, California, will be out on DVD and other digital platforms coming on September 4th.
The release will feature the band's original members. The set includes "Private Idaho," the classic "Rock Lobster" and "Party Out of Bounds."
There will also be interviews with Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson who speak of their memories of the event.
Schneider recalled, "It was hot as hell in the desert but as soon as we got going we had the audience dancing up a dust storm.”
There will also be a tribute to Cindy Wilson’s late brother, guitarist Ricky Wilson, who passed away from AIDS back in 1985.
