The Rolling Stones could wind up treating fans to the new music they’ve been working on—one song at a time.Keith Richards talked about that very thing with Uncut magazine.
From Uncut magazine: Keith said, "I'm talking to (producer) Don (Was) and Mick (Jagger) and trying to figure it out. If this thing goes on much longer we might try to put out another track. Work differently, instead of making an 'album' album. . . just release tracks. After all. . . [the first release] 'Living in a Ghost Town' worked.”
Stones fans will recall the band’s last studio album with Blue & Lonesome back in 2016.Their last album of original material was event further back – 2005’s A Bigger Bang.
