David Bowie fans will have a chance to celebrate what would have been the late legend’s 74th birthday this winter. Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan and Trent Reznor are among the stars appearing at an upcoming livestream paying tribute to Bowie.
“A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day” happens on January 8th, when he would have turned 74. Organized by longtime Bowie pianist Mike Garson, the event will feature artists Bowie’s collaborated with over the years taking on some of his beloved songs.
Also set to appear during the livestream are Gary Oldman, Macy Gray, Perry Farrell, his final touring band, and his producer Tony Visconti. Tickets for “A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day” are available HERE.
