Vince Gill has spent most of the last three decades being known as one of the most talented musicians in the world. But there are still Eagles fans who feel he shouldn't be in the legendary band.
Vince said, "I see a lot of people making negative comments about me being in that band -- it's not gonna be the Eagles without Glenn [Frey]. I get it. It's my favorite band too. I don't want to hear me sing 'New Kid in Town.' So, I'm just trying to do my part to keep some great songs afloat."
Don Henley asked Vince to join the Eagles back in 2017 after Glenn Frey passed away the year before. Vince also says that his and Glenn's son Deacon's presence in the group does work, but adds it's "not as good as the original."
