Starbucks is stepping up to bring smiles to frontline workers with free coffee. During the month of December, they’re offering first responders and health care workers a tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) at no charge.
To redeem their freebie, folks only need to identify themselves as frontline workers - no ID required. The coffee giant’s offer includes doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health workers, social workers, hospital staffers (janitors/housekeeping/security, etc.) and active-duty military members.
This isn’t the first time this year Starbucks has taken care of frontline workers during the pandemic. In the spring, they did a similar coffee offer and so far in 2020, they’ve given away over 2-million cups of coffee. And they’re also giving 50-thousand care packages and gift cards to frontline workers throughOperation Gratitudeto show their appreciation.
