Aerosmith are said to be preparing for another go at celebrating their 50th anniversary.
Their Deuces are Wild Las Vegas residency started it last year. The legendary band was scheduled to do an official 50th anniversary blowout at Fenway Park in their hometown of Boston in September, but the pandemic ended those plans.
That has been rescheduled for September 14th of 2021 following dates in Europe from late-May through mid-July.
This year is the group’s 50th anniversary, but 2021 marks their 50th with the current lineup with Brad Whitford who replaced guitarist Ray Tabano in 1971.
Aerosmith posted on Facebook that they’re “gearing up for the upcoming 50th celebration” and that their team has been working closely with all their record labels, along with updating their “YouTube and Facebook content [and] uploading official music and remastered HD videos” on their YouTube channel.
