Sammy Hagar and The Circle will release a new compilation of the tracks they've recorded this year along with posted online videos as part of their "Lockdown Sessions."
Lockdown 2020 will be released on January 8th, and it includes covers of "Won’t Get Fooled Again" by The Who, "Three Little Birds" from Bob Marley, "Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC, "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield along with three Van Halen songs from the days when Hagar and Circle bassist Michael Anthony were in the band -- "Good Enough," "Right Now" and "Don’t Tell Me What Love Can Do."
Hagar and his band also recently recorded a cover of "Heroes" by David Bowie, which is also the first single. Proceeds from that song will go to various food banks.
