Dennis DeYoung’s new Facebook post is actually an anniversary message to his wife Suzanne.
DeYoung wrote that "51 [years] is not as magical as 50, especially this last year. Sheesh. Still we have survived and flourished during the cootie curse."
The legendary Styx vocalist thanks wife Suzanne for "being a great cook, it has sustained us without any risky behavior. Unless I count you making me watch The Crown and every show about Princess Diana and your new favorite thing Schitt’s Creek... Perhaps it’s a metaphor. Duh."
Dennis closed by typing in call caps, "DEAR SUZANNE; I’LL LOVE YOU FOREVER; THANK YOU FOR BEING A GREAT WIFE, MOTHER AND LOVER FOR ALL THESE MANY YEARS. 51 TO BE EXACT. CHEERS TO US AND THE BEST OF TIMES ARE ALWAYS WHEN I’M ALONE WITH YOU."
DeYoung also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the release of the iconic Styx album Paradise Theatre this week.
