The Doors' Morrison Hotel is set to become the basis for a graphic novel.
Leah Moore has written the novel with help from surviving Doors rockers John Densmore and Robby Krieger. The graphic novel honors The Doors reputation as “counterculture heroes.”
About five thousand copies of a limited deluxe edition will be available with three 9x14.5 inch images from the book.It will also feature a 50th Anniversary edition 12 inch picture disc from the iconic Morrison Hotel album.
The release will feature the original 1970 stereo mix version of The Doors classic “Roadhouse Blues.”It was remastered by legendary engineer Bruce Botnick.
The project will be published on March 23rd.
