AXS TV has scheduled a series of specials, performances and a documentary Saturday nights during Black History Month in February—including Buddy Guy, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and more.
The shows begin on February 6th with the documentary with the documentary Rock Legends: Lenny Kravitz along with a Dan Rather Big Interview with the legendary Buddy Guy.
In the following weeks there will be shows on Motown—with documentaries on Diana Ross and the Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Stevie Wonder.There will also be a special featuring the late B.B. King with guests Terrence Howard, Richie Sambora and Solange,
There will also be specials honoring hip hop, pop-soul female legends like Tina Turner and Patti LaBelle along with a spotlight on dance music from Prince, James Brown and Little Richard.
