Former Beach Boy Al Jardine has already received his first COVID vaccination and the star is urging fans to follow in his footsteps.
Jardine says he can’t believe that anyone “is on the fence” about getting vaccinated.Jardine believes all of us have a real stake in lowering the risk of coronavirus.He feels like vaccines are the only way we can eventually get life back to normal anytime soon.
Al talked about being days away from receiving his second shot:
"I got my first shot, like, a few weeks ago, and I'm getting the next one, the Moderna variety, this Saturday. So, I'm thankful for that."
He went on to say, "I can't imagine being on the fence about it. It's devastating to have to endure this any longer. And why wouldn't we want to be vaccinated against a re-infection. You know, the sooner the better, as soon as we all vaccinate ourselves, the sooner we'll begin to recover. Everybody, come on, I mean, it's time to get real."
