Michael Bolton is having a little fun with one of his classics. The crooner has updated “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.” in a new TV ad campaign.
His new version goes with the "Break Up With Your Brokerage" theme for Public.com.
The video reportedly targets Robinhood and social media outrage from the company's criticized practice of payment for order flow (PFOF), with regards to the recent Gamestop scandal.
In the update, Bolton recommends Public.com as a more ethical alternative. To show his belief in the firm, Bolton has now listed his own portfolio with them.
This isn’t the first time Michael Bolton has commercialized a classic. You’ll recall that last year he updated his version of the classic "When a Man Loves a Woman" in a pitch for Panera Bread.
