Van Morrison will soon release a brand new double album. Morrison will release his Latest Record Project: Volume 1 on May 7th.
The new collection features 28 songs inspired by Morrison’s affinity for blues, jazz, R&B and soul music.
Morrison says, “I’m getting away from the perceived same songs, same albums all the time,” Van shares. “This guy’s done 500 songs, maybe more, so hello? Why do you keep promoting the same ten? I’m trying to get out of the box.”
