Gladys Knight, The Four Tops and the National Symphony Orchestra will headline this year’s National Memorial Day Concert on PBS. The show will again be virtual this year.
Deadline has reported the show will consist of a several taped performances from various locations around Washington D.C. It’ll be a blend of pop and country artists in addition to tribute segments honoring 9/11 Gold Star families and various others who serve our nation.
There will be a Salute to Services with a message from General Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Mickey Guyton will open the show with the National Anthem.The show will be hosted by Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna and it will air on PBS on May 31st at 7pm (Central).
