Steve Miller's 1977 ‘Breaking Ground’ live concert release is out today. Steve has been going back in his archives because of the pandemic.Fans get a treat today.
Steve says about that 1977 show: "Out of that came this jewel of a concert. 1977. People were smoking cigarettes, wearing bell bottom pants and everybody's got hair down to here. That part's kind of funny. But what's going on on the stage is really inspirational. And that's why this has turned out to be such an exciting project."
That very project Steve Miller Band Live! Breaking Ground: August 3, 1977 recorded at the Capital Center in Landover, Maryland, is being released today.Songs include classics like “Take The Money And Run, “Jet Airliner,” “Fly Like An Eagle,” and “Rock ‘n Me.”
It’ll be available today in various forms and a full concert stream on the Coda Collection through Amazon Prime Video.
