The Beach Boys will release a brand new box set next month which will focus on a couple of their under-appreciated albums.
Feel Flows – The Sunflower and Surf's Up Sessions 1969-1971 contains 135 re-mastered tracks, which will include 108 previously unreleased songs. The set will be released on July 30th and it will include live recordings, radio promos (very cool), several alternate versions and alternate mixes.
The Beach Boys previously unreleased song "Big Sur" is out as a preview. “Big Sur” was originally recorded for Surf's Up – but didn’t make the final cut. After more than five decades in the vault, fans can now enjoy the song.
The box set will also include a 48-page book loaded with liner notes, plus new and previously archived interviews from Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love.
