Wolfgang Van Halen continues to give his support for a tribute concert for his late father Eddie Van Halen. Sammy Hagar has also said he’d like to be part of the event.
Wolf recently told Eddie Trunk that the tribute is not immediately on the horizon because he’s touring with Mammoth WVH. Wolf also said putting together such a tribute show is "a lot of moving parts that you've gotta corral to get that to happen. But I definitely think it should happen."
Wolfgang also talked about who would take part in the event, saying: "I have no idea. All I know is that the focus should a hundred percent be on Pop. While it could be a celebration of Van Halen and the band's history, I think more than anything, it should be focused on him."
Sammy Hagar has already indicated in several interviews that he’d do everything possible to attend a tribute show for Eddie. Sammy and bassist Michael Anthony recently set up a new Instagram account dedicated to their Van Halen years at VanHagarOtherHalf.
