David Crosby's comments to Howard Stern on Tuesday about a CSN documentary may have been premature.
The legendary group has been in discussions with filmmaker Robert Zemeckis. A spokesperson for the iconic director has said, "Mr. Crosby’s conversation with Mr. [Howard] Stern regarding the project — although undoubtedly enthusiastic — was premature. While there is interest from all parties, there is no official deal in place.”
Crosby’s spokesman added, "There have been discussions, but there’s nothing concrete in place. It was a bit too early to speak about it publicly.”
If the project does wind up coming together, Crosby has said there is more than “10,000 hours” of existing footage along with new interviews with the group, including Stephen Stills and Graham Nash. We’ll see what the future holds for this project.
