Reports have surfaced that KISS are working on a “touring entity of some kind” once they finish their farewell tour next year. There could be a major change in the works with the legendary band.
Robert V. Conte, the KISS catalog consultant, said in an interview that he thinks Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will sell the brand to a “conglomerate.”
Conte said, “Every incarnation of KISS is unique in its own way and there are things I appreciate about them all.”
He added, “As long as Gene and Paul remain with the group, I would rather KISS continue in some form than stop altogether. However, don’t be surprised if someday the brand is sold to some big conglomerate when those two decide to retire...”
KISS are set to resume their End of the Road tour on August 18th in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
