Bruce Springsteen classic concert film on the way

Bruce Springsteen fans will get a treat when The Boss releases his complete performance with The E Street Band from 1979's No Nukes concerts at Madison Square Garden.

The highlights from both nights -- September 21st and 22nd, 1979 -- have been edited together for a full-length Springsteen concert film. This was his only performance between the tours for Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River.

The film will feature remixed, remastered audio and was put together from from the original 16mm film shot by longtime Springsteen collaborator Thom Zimny.

When the film was originally released in 1980, it featured only three Springsteen songs: "The River," "Thunder Road" and "Quarter to Three." ("Detroit Medley" was added only to the three-album set.)

The film will not feature any of the other performers who were there. Jackson Browne, CSN, Bonnie Raitt, The Doobie Brothers, James TaylorPoco, Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers and several others also performed.

More details will be released in September.
