Lindsey Buckingham told The New York Times he was supposed to get together with Mick Fleetwood this summer, but someone in Mick’s inner-circle tested positive for COVID.
Buckingham called Mick his "soul mate," and he says he's still on good terms with Mick and Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie despite being dismissed in 2018. Lindsey went on to say that he has yet to mend fences Stevie Nicks.
Lindsey said, “I’ve known Stevie since I was 16, so I would like to think there’s a better way for us to finish up than we finished up," he said. “Not just for Fleetwood Mac and for the legacy, but just for the two of us.”
When Buckingham was asked about his interactions with Stevie on stage, he said, “Some of that is that we’re aware that that’s part of the appeal and we’re playing off it. But it’s also real. Who’s to say where the line is, where the show stops and reality starts? We always brought out the voyeur in everyone.”
