Steely Dan have officially postponed the start of their Absolutely Normal tour a few weeks from October 5th in Miami until October 25th in Baltimore.
Donald Fagen said, "Some weeks ago when COVID was getting so bad down there, management decided to postpone a bunch of southern shows and move them to next year. Unfortunately there was some kind of mess up and it hasn't really been posted everywhere yet."
The affected dates are Miami, Orlando, St. Petersburg and Jacksonville, Florida.The group has also postponed shows in North Charleston, South Carolina, along with Charlotte and Richmond, Virginia.
Those postponed shows will be rescheduled in between dates on next year’s tour, which will feature special guest Steve Winwood.
The Steely Dan 2022 tour starts on May 20th in Portland, Oregon.
