Olivia Newton-John is set to release a 40th anniversary edition of her ‘Physical’ album.
The original came out on October 13th, 1981. Olivia says, “It’s hard to believe that it has been 40 years since Physical was first released, and I am thrilled that it’s getting this beautiful 40th anniversary Deluxe Edition...”
She adds, "I remember being so nervous that I had ‘gone too far’ with the title song’s ‘cheekiness’ that I told my manager at the time, Roger Davies, to pull it off the album. He laughed and said, ‘Luv, it’s too late it’s gone to radio and is climbing the charts!”
The 40th anniversary release also includes 20 bonus songs and a 1983 concert in Ogden, Utah among other extras. It will be released in two weeks on October 22nd.
