Journey will hit the road next year with Billy Idol and Toto. The 40-date Freedom Tour 2022 starts on February 22nd in Pittsburgh with Billy Idol on 22 dates through April 5th.
Toto will join them beginning on April 7th in San Diego for 18 shows through the finale on May 11th in Hartford, Connecticut.
Journey guitarist Neal Schon says, "It's that time -- time to get back to where we are used to being -- on stage! We are looking forward to shifting into high gear and bringing you the best show possible. The band is running on all 12 cylinders and very excited! Billy Idol also says, "Touring next year with Journey is going to be great fun! An epic night you won't want to miss. I'm excited to get back to so many wonderful cities and I'm bringing [my guitarist] Steve Stevens and the rest of the Billy Idol band with me!"
And Toto's Steve Lukather says, "On behalf of myself and the band, we are very honored and excited to do this tour with our old and dear friends Journey. Gonna be a great night of music, and as all the guys are lifelong friends…a blast off stage as well."
Tickets go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster. Journey will return the stage December 1st for a six-night residency at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
