Robert Plant says he's been asked about retirement for about 40 years now and his answer is always the same. The rocker has no plans to stop anytime soon.
Plant spoke to Britain's Telegraph, saying, “People used to say to me, 'Well, you must have done enough now?’ 'Enough of [effing] what?' 'Enough to retire!' So imagine the blessing to be 40 years further down the road, and I still don’t know enough to stop in any respect. There’s always something new to learn, somewhere new to take it."
Plant said he loves being a musician and considers it a "lifetime's job." He also said considers working with Alison Krauss again on their second album, ‘Raise the Roof,’ "like being at night school,” meaning that he's "still learning the different flexing of harmonic options."
Plant said fans can hear him "getting in almost like some sort of vocal jigsaw puzzle.”
