Elton John returned to the road for the first time in almost two years with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in New Orleans Wednesday night, and fans got to were treated to a new song on the set list, his duet with Dua Lipa, “Cold Heart.”
Elton opened up his encore set by performing "Cold Heart," his first top 10 hit in 25 years, live for the very first time. He was accompanied by a pre-recorded track on the song. Check out the performance on Sir Elton’s Instagram.
Elton turned in a 22 song performance which also featured the tour debut of "Have Mercy on the Criminal" from ‘Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only the Piano Player.’ There were a handful of songs that Elton played during his last show in March 2020 that weren't on the current set list: "All The Girls Love Alice," "Daniel," "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word" and "Indian Sunset."
Elton will bring the party to Texas with a show Houston tonight.
