Survivor co-founder Jim Peterik is going with the Cincinnati Bengals in the big game on Sunday and he’s re-written their classic “Eye of the Tiger” in honor of quarterback Joe Burrow.
Peterik co-wrote the classic from the ‘Rocky III’ sound track, and he shared his new version on Instagram on Wednesday. Peterik said, “There is so much tiger energy in the air this year. We’ve got the 40th anniversary of ‘The Eye of the Tiger,’ it’s the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Tiger and we have star quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow of the LSU Tigers taking the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl.”
The game between Cincinnati and the Los Angeles Rams will air on NBC Sunday evening at 5:30.
