Smash Mouth have officially "RickRolled" fans with a new lead singer.
The band announced that Zach Goode will be taking over vocals with the release of their cover of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Goode is a Los Angeles-based voice actor who's also sung in the bands Ghoulspoon, Divided by Zero and Secret Seven.
Goode is replacing former Smash Mouth vocalist Steve Harwell, who retired from the band last fall after a rough outing that he blamed on the side effects of cardiomyopathy, which he was diagnosed with eight years ago.
