Aerosmith fans won’t get to see all five members at their Deuces Are Wild residency in Las Vegas this year.
The band issued a statement that said drummer Joey Kramer "regrettably made the decision to sit out the band's concerts in 2022 so he can focus his full attention on his family during these uncertain times." While Kramer "takes a temporary leave of absence" he'll be replaced by his drum tech John Douglas. The statement added that "[Kramer] and the band look forward to his future performances with Aerosmith."
Fans will recall that in early 2020 Kramer actually sued the band, saying they weren't letting him back on stage even though he was physically able. The guys eventually worked out their differences and Kramer rejoined for their last three shows in Vegas before the pandemic.
