Billy Idol is still dealing with health issues, so the legendary 80’s rocker has postponed his European tour that was supposed to start in June.
Idol writes, "As many of you know, this year has dealt me some health challenges which are nearly but not quite resolved. While my recovery is almost complete, I have been given doctor’s orders to stay off the road until August."
The tour has been rescheduled to September and October, which will result in The Go-Go's no longer being able to open. Television will now open the tour.
Idol first canceled last December because of a sinus infection. Back in February he dropped out of a tour with Journey because he hadn't fully recovered. He had sinus surgery back in mid-February to clear it up but wound up in the hospital in March for IV treatment due to a staph infection that was resistant to oral antibiotics. He also has to cancel an appearance at Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival late last month.
The first show on Billy’s ‘Roadside Tour’ will now be on September 23rd in Germany.
