Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” movie is coming to theaters on June 24th and the soundtrack will feature several variations on Elvis Presley classics from artists of all genres. The trailer for the film is up now on YouTube. Doja Cat covers “Vegas.” Kacey Musgraves is covering the Elvis classic “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You,” and Maneskin covered “If I Can Dream.”
A recent Instagram post has revealed who else is on the soundtrack album. The post indicated the album will include “original songs and records by Elvis Aaron Presley,” and music from artists like Chris Isaak, Eminem and CeeLo Green, Stevie Nicks, Gary Clark, Jr., Jack White, Jazmine Sullivan, Pnau, Tame Impala, Swae Lee and Diplo, and Yola, along with the movie’s main star Austin Butler, actor Kodi Smit-McPhee and more artists.
“Elvis, starring Butler and Tom Hanks (as Colonel Tom Parker) opens theaters June 24th.
