Elton John has announced that more reissues are on the way. Elton will re-release his 2005 album ‘Peachtree Road’ on vinyl on July 8th. He’ll also re-issue ‘The One’ from 1990, with special appearances from Eric Clapton and David Gilmour.
Also on July 8th, a stereo vinyl version of ‘Regimental Sgt. Zippo’ from 1968 will be released. That was supposed to be Elton John’s debut album, but it wasn’t actually released until just last year, in mono, for Record Store Day. The new version has been mixed in stereo and will be available on black vinyl along with a CD version that contains both the mono and stereo mixes.
These latest reissues come after the 50th anniversary edition of Elton’s fourth album, ‘Madman Across the Water’, from 1971, back on June 10th. That’s album that featured the classics "Tiny Dancer" and "Levon.” It will be available in four different formats for Elton’s fans.
