Rocker Sammy Hagar has had his own mezcal and tequila brands on the market for quite a while and he has now decided to introduce a new line of canned cocktails from Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. Hard seltzers have been a big thing for the past couple of years and the canned cocktail market is also heating up. Sammy’s is rolling out four sparkling rum cocktails that include:
- Tangerine Dream – with hints of dreamsicle
- Pineapple Splash – features a slow burn spice from jalapeno
- Island Pop Chill – a Hawaiian fruity flavor
- Cherry Cola Chill – also with a bit of spice and the sweetness of cherry cola
All of these are made with Sammy Hagar’s Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum and contain 5.5% ABV, 5 grams of sugar and less than 130 calories per 12 oz. can. Hagar goes on to say “You’ll want to throw these cocktails in a cooler and bring them to the beach, your pool party, out tailgating, and your backyard barbecue.
