The much talked about Elton John-Britney Spears collaboration “Hold Me Closer” will be released on Friday, according to social posts by both artists.
The new duet is a remake of Elton John’s classic “Tiny Dancer.” The star posted a sneak peek of the new song on TikTok, showing both Elton and Britney singing the chorus of the song backed up by a dance beat. Sir Elton and Britney recorded the song last month in Beverly Hills with producer Andrew Watt. This will be the first new song from Britney Spears since the end of her conservatorship.
This new songs a few months after Elton hit big with his Dua Lipa collaboration “Cold Heart”—which featured parts of a couple of other of his classics.
