David Lee Roth has just released the third of 14 songs he recorded last May 3rd at Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood, California. It's another Van Halen classic, "Dance the Night Away."
The song was featured on the 1979 album ‘Van Halen II.’ The updated version features an ending with a sample of "Gloria" from from the 60’s group Them -- which had Van Morrison on vocals -- followed by Roth doing a spoken word piece much like Jim Morrison and The Doors.
This is the third release of re-recordings after the releases of "Panama" and "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love." Backing up Roth are guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler and drummer Francis Valentino.
