Elton John and Britney Spears have just released the video for their new collaboration, "Hold Me Closer." The song is a dance track with a a contemporary twist on Elton’s classic “Tiny Dancer” along with elements of “The One” and “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” included.
The video was shot in Mexico City and shows people dancing. Director Tanu Muino, who has also done videos for Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, Cardi B, Yungblud and Lizzo, said, "The visuals had to be different. The dance had to be forward-thinking to raise eyebrows and make Elton and Britney proud. To capture this magic, we shot around all my favorite architectural locations in Mexico City... Getting the best dancers, crew and access to some of the most private locations in the world was simple as everyone wanted to work with Elton John and be part of his legacy."
There will also be three collectible, limited-edition CD singles coming with different artwork. One will have the original single sleeve and the other two will feature fan-voted art on the cover. They'll be released in November.
