Queen just released a previously unheard song featuring Freddie Mercury. The tune, “Face it Alone,” was recorded back in 1988, during their sessions for the album “The Miracle” in 1989.
Drummer Roger Taylor said, "We did find a little gem from Freddie, that we'd kind of forgotten about." He added, "It's wonderful, a real discovery. It's a very passionate piece."
The band also just announced a new box set reissue of “The Miracle,” which will include the song “Face it Alone.” It will be released on November 18th as a Super Deluxe Collector’s Edition with eight discs, including a “long lost original LP cut,” bonus tracks, B-sides, along with extended and single versions.
There’s also an instrumental disc of “The Miracle,” and a disc of radio interviews with the band, along with a Blu-ray and DVD of “The Miracle Videos.” That includes interviews, behind-the-scenes videos and much more. There will also be a 76-page photo book.
