The Rolling Stones will receive some country love in a new tribute album. ‘Stoned Cold Country’ will feature covers of 14 Rolling Stones classics.
Songs featured include: “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Dead Flowers,” "It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It),” “Miss You,” "Wild Horses," “Tumbling Dice,” and "Gimme Shelter" by Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, Marcus King, Zac Brown Band, Steve Earle and seven others.
The album will be released next year. The first single is out today. “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It)” features the Brothers Osborne and the War and Treaty. They are scheduled to perform the song next Wednesday on the Country Music Association Awards on ABC at 7pm.
